Tappie for Android comes straight from this site, not the Play Store. Download the APK, allow the install once, and the app keeps itself up to date from then on.

Installing it

Download
On your phone, tap Download APK. Your browser may warn that this type of file can harm your device; that is its standard message for any app from outside the Play Store. Tap Download anyway.

Open the file
Open it from the download notification, or from the Downloads app.

Allow the install
The first time, Android asks you to allow Install unknown apps for your browser. Tap Settings, switch it on, go back and tap Install.

That’s it
Tappie checks for new versions itself and offers to update in the app. You don’t need to come back here.
Needs Android 5.0 or newer. Only install Tappie from this site. To check a download, compare its SHA-256 with the one above. An iPhone version is coming later.
